Missed, Late Cancelled, or Late Rescheduled Appointments

Courageous You is committed to providing high quality behavioral and mental health counseling, therapy, and clinical supervision services to as many people as possible. Because demand for services is high, we ask that you schedule appointments that you are confident you will be able to keep. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we request that you do so at least 48 hours in advance. When an appointment is canceled without adequate notice, we are unable to fill the appointment by offering it to another person, couple, polycule, or family.

We require a credit card be kept on file to cover fees and/or copays related to your services. To cover costs of doing business, we charge a late cancellation fee for missed, canceled, or rescheduled appointments with less than 48 hours notice.

The late cancellation fee for Counselor/Therapist appointments and Clinical Supervision appointments is $165. Our cancellation policy will allow one late cancellation fee to be waived per calendar year in the event of illness or emergency.

When scheduling a New Client Intake Session by phone, we will require your credit card to be kept on file and will charge a scheduling deposit of $1.00. If you keep or reschedule your appointment with more than 48 hours notice, the deposit will be applied towards your appointment fee or co-pay. If you miss, cancel, or reschedule your appointment with less than 48 hours notice, your credit card will be charged the remaining balance to cover the late cancellation fee.
